The first rule in Network Marketing is “say less to more people”.
I was talking with a prospect, asking him some questions to know his area of need before showing him what I have to offer when he commented based on his previous experience that he was tired of talking and convincing people. Obviously he conducted his previous network marketing business in the wrong way.
The fastest way to get discouraged and worn out when prospecting is by making yourself the message instead of the messenger! The best way to go about prospecting is by “point and schedule”. That is when you call your prospect and you ask your “piquing question”, if the prospect gives you a favourable response, then you point him or her to a third party tool of your company that explains the opportunity and you schedule a time to call or chat back for feedback, simple! This way you will hardly get disappointed when a prospect isn’t ripe for your opportunity. Because it will be obvious that he is turning down the opportunity and not you. So you can work efficiently with tools. For more on “piquing questions” check previous posts and follow this page. See you on top
