The first rule in Network Marketing is “say less to more people”.
I was talking with a prospect, asking him some questions to know his area of need before showing him what I have to offer when he commented based on his previous experience that he was tired of talking and convincing people. Obviously he conducted his previous network marketing business in the wrong way.
When it comes to mentioning our income in Network Marketing most of us usually buffer the income, I was guilty of this too when I was starting out in the industry. Really we don’t have to disclose our income to prospects when they ask or while we are prospecting, there is a way to answer income statement question from prospects without stating your income. I have answered that question in one of my posts. But if we have to state our income we don’t have to exaggerate it.
